Winnipeg’s Grand Analog is unbalanced and dirty; never clean. Grand Analog is fuzzy with three coats of dust and reads like an old manual no longer in use.

The music is a beautiful mess of rap'n'roll dub and soul; a hip hop slop shop of times good and bad. Calligraffiti: for the tired heavy heart, ridden with struggle and happiness.

The Grand Analog Project is fronted by Odario G. Williams. Members include Ofield K. Williams, Damon Mitchell, DJ Catalist, Warren Bray, Klaverkamp, B-Boy Breakz and Darcy Ataman.

Each character in this collective brings something unique to the table. Odario and DJ Ofield blame their father, a reggae DJ from the 80s, for cursing them with the love of music, bass and trouble. DJ Catalist on keyboards was also born into a musical family inheriting a few dusty analog keys for the lab (Arp Odyssey, Mini Korg K2, Sequential Circuits Six Trak, Roland Jupitor 6 among others). Warren Bray has a punk funk history and is now appointed GA's doctor of bass while Damon Mitchell brings his guitar savvy to the recording process. Other album contributers include Cadence Weapon, Shad, Maiko Watson and saxophonist Martin Perna (TV On The Radio/Antibalas).

Grand Analog's retro heart and restless feet create an extensive touring schedule. The live show adds soul to the bloodline along with frequent stage jams and off the wall spontaneity. Both Calligraffiti and the live performance itself are critically acclaimed. Over the last two years, Grand Analog has already left their mark on prestigious showcases and festivals such as SXSW, Pop Montreal, the Halifax Pop Explosion, NXNE, JunoFest, and CMW plus a national tour opening for the Herbaliser and various Jazz and Folk Festivals nationwide. Grand Analog fiends on tackling any stage presented to them, any place any time...no matter the genre.

Sleepy Head started off as a couple scarry ghosts in the basment spinning records for highschool kids. After a falling out I exaustingly dragged myself around the city making friends and taking names. This is when i met Dan Solo, who has and continues to be both a friend and mentor of my electronic sound. As a DJ one can only expresse the love and thoughts of other artists in remixing and selection, so i moved onto producing. The long journey that is Sleepy Head had begun. Calling on all my best friends im contuning to work hard playing shows and producing tracks. I live in a crater in the ground about 240 KM from a city called Calgary. I grew up in various homes, surrounded in Calgarys core by homelesness and oil tycoons. The village i currently hail from has one of the largest bridges in the world...truely wild west.

I run a website called Midnight Social where the true majic happens...as well as music im in a degree for Internationl Business and Political Science...the world is evolving and i for one will move with it.
