"...The result, again, was a Go For the Eyes record that captured their best at its best."- Mike Bell (Calgary Herald, Six Through Twelve EP Review)- April 11, 2013

"Go For the Eyes is a band who truly understands the concept that it’s not what you play it’s how you play it."- Lee Mellor (The Scene Magazine, Six Through Twelve EP Review)- March 29, 2013

"When Go For the Eyes played the room transcended into a mini rock festival for a moment."- Darrell Shelley (The Scene Magazine, CMW 2013 Showcase Review)- March 24, 2013

"From the Alberta mountains has risen an album that music lovers of all genre will adore."- Amanda Darrock (Music Vice, Six Through Twelve EP Review)- March 21, 2013

"Go For The Eyes' music makes any listener want to dub it to cassette and glue it in their tape deck.”
- Darren Olinger, X92.9

“Too experimental to be a hard rock band, too loud for an indie pop band. They managed to create a unique sound that left everybody in Vancouver impressed.”
- Oswaldo Perez (vanmusic.ca) - May 23, 2011

“Go For The Eyes features a perfect blend of female/male lead vocals combined with huge driving guitars and some stellar drumming. They’ve been tearing it up in Calgary and now aim to taste some of that success across the country.”
- Dan Wolovick (Two-Way Monologues, Toronto) January 19, 2011

“Circus Rock” — a rocking, funking, melodic mix that sounds like System of A Down meets Rough Trade meets Primus ”
— Mike Bell, The Calgary Herald

This three-piece garage rock(and roll) band of almost twentysomethings have set out on a voyage to bring rock music back into the Canadian music scene by impregnating the minds of young, impressionable, adolescents with bright trebly guitarbage, fuzzy overpowering bass grooves, bursting post-tempo drum beats, and not quite incoherent anti-poetic lyrics.
