Not Metal, but the Metalheads might like it. Not Punk, but the Oi's might dig it. Not Indie, but it's fun to see a Waif Rock Out. Not Hardcore, cause they ain't rich kids. Not Glam, cause nobody can top Ziggy and Bolan. Not Grunge cause most of those guys are dead. Not but one heck of a Rock band. Call us what you will. We're not genre snobs, just ROCKERS! Led by Canadian Vocalist, Guitarist, Songwriter, & Producer TROY PERLIC, the band was formed and established in Europe but has recently relocated to Vancouver, Canada - See them at a venue near you soon.

"There is something for everyone in our music, yet integrity keeps us deeply rooted in the void between the sound of underground and mainstream rock n roll. Whether we play it ‘fast’ or ‘slow’ our goals are the same – ‘WE’ must: enjoy it, make it tuneful, powerful, thought provoking, exciting and unpredictable… ”

The Debut album “Old Beauty & the Broken Cross” (translated to Portuguese – Linda Velha & Cruz Quebrada – well know Lisbon suburbs where the bands rehearsal garage / studio exists) is as clever and intriguing as the album title.

11 songs were captured and mixed at Generator Studios and subsequently Mastered in the USA by the Legendary Howie Weinberg (Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Sonic Youth – Clutch – the Beastie Boys, the Afghan Whigs, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Muse, KORN, the Strokes, Biffy Clyro, Deftones, Gorrilaz, and the Killers more recently.

KOMODO WAGON SONGS
Include stories and themes that examine commonplace social practices, beliefs, faiths, and governments. Lyrics ‘challenge’ the audience / listener to examine both “the pretty” & “the ugly” sides of life in a unique but inviting manner.

The songs incorporate love, hate, sex, denial, optimism, relationships, entertainment, big city adventures and small town ideals representing the vast journey of singer / songwriter Troy Perlic’s existence thus far in life. Yet, somehow we get more from this band as a result of their unique attention to fundamental aspects of Rock music which seem to be missing in today’s charts and scenes. Believability, accountability, power, melody, and even grace are the real ‘turbines’ behind Komodo Wagon. The boys wear these traits on their sleeves, it's that simple.
