Hailing from Lethbridge, Alberta, we're a band that combine elements of surf, garage, psyche and stoner rock to form a unique sound that we've dubbed 'loser-friendly flop house rock'. Heavily influenced by bands like Huevos Rancheros, Man or Astro-man? and Forbidden Dimension, we also take influence from groups like Queens of the Stone Age, Death from Above 1979, the Plugz, and Link Wray

Description
"Mixing garage with surf and heavy psychedelia, they are finding unique sounds that evoke Agent Orange, Huevos Rancheros or at times the Wooden Shjips."

 Terra is a noise rock trio from Medicine Hat.

"Fist City is a four piece; a pack of earnest weirdos with a penchant for churning out music that screeches and rings with the blood-rush of a night crime yet charms with sugary sweet pop jangles and kool surf sleeze. They are of Alberta small town bummers and anti-boredom youth cults. Their music has been described as "raggedly elegant … stripped down challenging punk", "pop songs clouded in a lo-fi basement show sheen";

a blend of post-punk and dark-surf, with a twinge of pop. "

6:15: Feel Alright http://feelalright.bandcamp.com/
Craig Fahner was born in the suburbs of Calgary, Alberta. He played in sloppy rock and roll bands such as The Ostrich before moving to Montreal, where he played with other expatriate Albertans in Silver Dapple. In 2010 Craig decided to get his masters degree and moved to Pittsburgh, where there are no other Albertans to make music with. And so he's been putting together a collection of songs under the name Feel Alright. His songs are borne of homesickness, conjuring the summer by howling sunshine harmonies through tape hiss. When he comes back for summer, Craig is joined by Dan Christiansen, Brady Kirchner and Dallin Ursenbach. The group can usually be found playing in basements and hot dog restaurants.
