Lethbridge, AB: In its 27th  year, the Lethbridge Community Bands, conducted by Samuel Yamamoto and Ken Rogers, will bring Lethbridge and Southern Alberta a sampling of favourite Christmas carols, along with new twists on traditional Christmas songs.    Saturday, December 13 marks the 23rd Annual Mayor’s Christmas Concert, the longest running concert of the LCBS. Audiences can expect both the Silver and Gold Bands to perform holiday classics and new works to celebrate the Christmas season. The LCBS bands are excited to welcome local harpist Karin Barg to the stage this season.   Since its inception, the LCBS Mayor’s Christmas Concert has partnered with the Lethbridge and Interfaith Food Banks. The Food Banks will be on hand at the concert to accept non-perishable food donations, and provide information to our audience about the benefits of the Food Banks in our community. Patrons are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item (or cash donation) as part of the admission to the concert.   This family-friendly concert will be presented at the Southminster United Church.
