"Lauren Crazybull (Minaki) is a Blackfoot/ Dene Artist
and Activist residing on Blackfoot Territory (Treaty 7 (Lethbridge)).
Lauren recently produced three audio documentaries and continues
multi-media production on issues that indigenous people face. She has
immersed herself in the world of sociology in an institution that often
teaches people to be critical about institutions like Universities. She
has succeeded and failed at many other things - she will continue to do
that for the rest of her life."
Sean:
"I hold that
music is the single most prevalent and immediately recognizable
intentional form of art. As such, it is the most important medium of the
arts. Conversely, a single ant is insignificant. Likewise, a single atom is negligible. Such is An Ant And An Atom and, by all accounts, my opinion of art-forms."
Aaron:
"A. Trozzo: Caucasian/ Privileged Male / 31 yrs old Aaron has been
slithering in the native grass of Lethbridge County since 2002... In
2007 he graduated from the U of L with a BFA in New Media. Since then,
he's worked steadily to surround himself with
things he finds inspiring: art in various forms and mediums, nature,
people, hobbies and occupations that inhibit such things. He strongly
believes that struggle, in its many forms, is a direct and unwavering
contributor to one's character / creative / moral output. His art is
often reactionary - drawing inspiration and emotion from current events,
literature, music, and others' art. He acknowledges that art may, or
may not come in the form of an installation in a physical space - it may
be fleeting, natural, or take on different meaning as subjectivity
evolves. He may also be a total idiot."
