4 dudes straight outta the corn fields of chilliwack BC Canada. Every friday and saturday we Practice in the Basement of Dreams, accompanied by lots of our favourite alcoholic beverages, pizza, good friends and drunk skateboarding sessions afterwards. We have lots of musical influences ranging from Punk rock to indie rock, to ska/reggae and a more progressive rock feel. The band consists of Deon Gallant (DD, DON EASY) Blake Pinder (BAKE, BLOCK) Zakk Davis (ZAKK JACKET) and Anthony Fehr (TONY TWO-TIMES),

So there were two young men from the small town Chilliwack named Zakk Davis and Deon Gallant. They were in two seperate bands which were InRestless Extacy and Brief Euphoria. They were both dying out around the same time and Zakk's band ended up needing a new singer. Brief Euphoria ended up colliding with Deon and they started jamming together. Zakk and Deon overheard the Punk/Neil Younger Blake Pinder throwing down some wicked harmonica while they were writing an acoustic song. They yelled "Hey Man! wanna jam some harmonica to this song?!?!" and he agreed. And so began the journey of the Band Poison Corn. Michael Roche on Drums, Zakk Davis on Leads, Blake Pinder on Bass, Rhythm Guitar and Vocals, and Deon Gallant on Rhythm Guitar, Bass, and Vocals. They began writing a lot of stuff with Michael and got a lot of shit done, Michael was a very unique and wicked drummer but after their first concert in Aldergrove for a Pumpkin Patch Festival, he set sailed for schooling. Zakk, Deon and Blake sat in awe and thought of who was going to replace this god of a drummer. Michael was one hardcore mother fucker on those drums and we had no idea who was going to replace him. Then it clicked. Deon arose from his thrown and and stated "ANTHONY THE PUNK CECHETTO FEHR SHALL BE THE REPLACEMENT!!!". Zakk had known before that Deon jammed with him with his previous band InRestless Extacy and had felt bad for just leaving him for us. So we jammed with Anthony for the first time and the energy and brightness of his presence definitely caught our attention and we loved it. It did take Anthony a bit of time to the songs but a good 3-4 practices, he was ready to go. So the band was now set but didn't know what they were going to name themselves, they were very confused on what their name would be. Blake before hand with Michael had written a song called "Poison Corn" and had a really unique and in your face sound to the song and Badass name. Deon and Zakk definitely fell inlove with the name at first glance and Zakk requested to name the band after the song. They all agreed and when they fed the name to Anthony, he Loved it. The name from there on stuck. Poison Corn now jams every friday and saturday and on Sundays they say "FUCK CHURCH" and go to DQ and shred their skateboards at Wal-Mart.
